Class 338 – Prepared Reading (adult performers)

For performers aged 19 and over. Performers will receive an adjudication but no comparison will be made between performances.
Test Piece: Own choice (see regulations 19-25) – not to exceed 4 minutes. Duration, author and title must be stated on the Entry Form.

If the reading is in a language other than English, a literal English translation must also be provided for the adjudicator.

Class 349 – Religious reading (16 – 18)

Class 355 – Sight Reading (16 – 18)

Test Piece: A simple passage of prose or verse. Each performer will be allowed one attempt with two minutes’ silent study prior to reading.
Entry fee: £12.00

Class 356 – Sight Reading (14 & 15)

Test Piece: A simple passage of prose or verse. Each performer will be allowed one attempt with two minutes’ silent study prior to reading.

Class 357 – Sight Reading (12 & 13)
